How the Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) System works
The containerized Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) System is a combination of Activated Sludge Biological Treatment
Process with Membrane Filtration, where biological oxidation, biological nutrient removal and membrane solid/liquid
separation occurs in a single cell aerobic process. Unlike conventional secondary clarifiers, the performance of solid
separation in the Ozzi Kleen MBR is not dependent on the settling characteristics of the activated sludge, which
allows it to produce high quality reusable water. In this compact system, all the treatment process equipment is
preassembled in 20’ ISO standard shipping container.
